NYFWAM
Adriana Maurera founded NYFWAM with a clear mission: to highlight Hispanic designers and celebrate global fashion talent. New York Fashion Week is famous for showcasing fashion from around the world, and Adriana’s initiative ensures that emerging designers, especially those with Hispanic roots, have a platform to be seen. NYFWAM brings together diverse talent, celebrating cultural richness and giving emerging designers a chance to reach a global audience. It was such a wonderful event for the non for profit organization: Women Without Limits that Maurera founded.
Women Without Limits
Women Without Limits is a non for profit organization whose mission is to empower and support Latin migrant women by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and guidance necessary for their personal and professional transformation. Through mental health support, education, legal advice, and business training, they aim to strengthen their self-esteem, emotional well-being, and entrepreneurial skills. By fostering leadership and promoting emotional and business growth, they create an inclusive environment where women can thrive, achieve their goals, and succeed in both business and family life, making a positive impact in their communities.
Behind The Scenes: A Night to Remember
Being part of the team that brought NYFWAM to life was an unforgettable experience. From the moment the show began, it was clear this would be a night to celebrate fashion, creativity, and culture. The energy backstage was electric, as models, designers, and makeup artists prepared to present their incredible work. Seeing everything come together so beautifully on the runway was nothing short of amazing—every model strutting with confidence, showcasing the talent of designers who poured their heart and soul into each look.
One of the highlights of the night was seeing guests enjoy themselves, especially in front of the stunning Le Rose Atelier flower wall. The delicate pink flowers mixed with vibrant greenery created the perfect photo backdrop. It was heartwarming to watch people smile, pose, and capture special moments in front of such a beautiful setup. The flower wall not only added an extra touch of elegance to the event but also became a symbol of joy and celebration for everyone attending.
Throughout the show, the models stunned the audience, moving with grace and precision in each designer’s creation. The makeup artists worked magic, adding final touches that completed each look to perfection. It was inspiring to witness so much talent, from the runway to behind the scenes, as everyone involved worked together to make the night a success.

Looking back, I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this team. NYFWAM wasn’t just a fashion show—it was a celebration of art, culture, and collaboration. Watching the guests, designers, models, and everyone involved enjoy the moment made all the hard work worthwhile. This experience was a reminder of the power of community and creativity, and I can’t wait to see what next year brings!
